Well as you can probably tell im really really excited because its less than 4 weeks to go till Coloursfest is on!! Still getting on with my college work and concentrating on getting that finished and everything passed :) xxx

My College Progress :)

College is going well, we only have 8 weeks left till we officially finish :)

The classes i have left in this final block are- Troubleshoot and Secure IT Systems, Weblogs,PC Passport DB&SS, SoftWare Development, PC passport WP&PP, and the Internet(Higher)
All my classes are going well and im getting through the work fairly quickly................

ColoursFest 2010!!!!!!!!! :D

June the 5th this year will be my first time going to Coloursfest!!! Im sooooo sooooo EXCITED!!!! :D

Bought my Ticket :) 2 of my best friends Laura and Joanne are coming with me, its their first time too so were all really excited for it!! :)

I cant waitt to see Showtek, Above and Beyond, the NoiseControllers,Mauro Picotto and loads others

Its quite far away from where i live as its being held in Glasgow but were getting a minibus to take us there and pick us up at the end when we'l all probably be veryyy drunk lol!!

Above&Beyond will play and headline their first ever Coloursfest this year, with Sander van Doorn and Gareth Emery also on the bill. This means we?ve got 3 of the world?s top 10 DJs playing the one event! Showtek are back for more after their superb closing set in the Main Arena last year, the number 1 Dutch hardstyle act will close the arena once more. Christian Smith and Umek will now also playing Mauro Picotto?s Meganite Arena. Kissy Sell Out will be making his Coloursfest debut in the Fantazia Club Classics Arena playing an exclusive 90?s rave set alongside Danny Rampling, Seb Fontaine and Jeremy Healy. Adding to the Lashed! line up are some of hard dance?s hottest acts as Anne Savage, Dark by Design and Fausto make this arena the perfect way to re-launch Lashed! in Scotland. Italian hardstyle superstar Technoboy will headline the BTTF Arena. With Noisecontrollers, Darren Styles and Noize Suppressor also on the bill, this makes this the best BTTF line up for years.

The Event

Coloursfest has now established itself as a fixture in the UK clubbing calendar having begun in the Summer of 2002. Rightly billed as 'Scotland's Biggest Dance Festival' Coloursfest was conceived to fill the gap so conspicuously left vacant after various promoters from south of the border tried and failed to make inroads in the Scottish festival market.
Coloursfest is a unique event, taking all the positives from the outdoor festival format, and staging it in a clean, user freindly, weather proof environment. With it's home at the Braehead International Arena on the banks of the River Clyde in the heart of Scotland's former ship building area of Glasgow, Coloursfest's indoor/outdoor concept has proved to be a winner with the clubbing public, and with it's easy connection by rail, road and even air (it's 5 mins from Glasgow airport) the infrastructure is perfect. By utilising both the purpose built indoor Arena and the picturesque outdoor Waterfront area complete with self-contained marquees, Coloursfest combines these elements perfectly creating an event that is virtually weatherproof, and provide the clubber with a guranteed dry, hospitable, comfortable place to dance whatever the weather. Immediately adjacent to the Braehead Shopping Centre, this location may seem a little strange at first glance but which perversely works very well.
Now established as a viable event within the UK's dance music community, Coloursfest will continue into the future with greatly predicted success.
